Eddie Daniels, Assistant Vice President, Business Services
Eddie Daniels assumed the role of Assistant Vice President for the Business Services in July 2017. Eddie began his career in local government, serving in various professional roles in the Office of Youth Development, City of Indianapolis, and as Government Management Specialist at the Northeast Georgia Area Planning and Development Commission, Athens, GA. Subsequently, Eddie made a career shift to higher education. Over the last three decades, Eddie has held positions in Student Affairs at various universities: Program Advisor in the Department of Student Activities, University of Georgia; Associate Director for Programs at the Russell House University Union, University of South Carolina (USC), and subsequently Director of the Student Union at USC; Director of the Student Union and Student Activities, University of Virginia; Director of Campus Activities, University of Connecticut; and most recently Executive Director of the J. Wayne Reitz Union, University of Florida for the last 12 years. Eddie has held a variety of leadership positions in the Association of College Unions International.
Eddie holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Degree in Zoology from Indiana University, Bloomington, IN, and a Master of Public Affairs (MPA) Degree from the School of Public and Environmental Affairs, Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI).

Jim Briscoe, Associate Director for Finance & Business Services
Jim is an associate director with Business Services. In addition to overseeing all the financial and accounting activity for Business Services, Jim manages mail services for both UF and UF Health, the UF Print Shop, the Passport Acceptance Facility, the Apple program, Gator 1 Card activity and the UF All Access program, a digital textbook program which has saved students millions since its inception.
Jim works directly with Aramark, Pepsi, Follett and Canteen via contract management. Jim has been a part of the Business Services team for over eight years.
Jim is a Gator, having earned his B.S. in Accounting from U.F., his M.B.A. from the University of North Florida and he is a Certified Public Accountant.
Wilcley Lima, Associate Director for Auxiliary Services
Wilcley Lima is Associate Director for Auxiliary Services at the University of Florida, where he oversees the Gator 1 Card services, the department’s IT, and management of contracts including vending, food service, and the bookstore. He also leads sustainability efforts for UF Business Services by working with partners to reduce energy use and improve waste diversion. Wilcley started working for UF Business Services in 2012 and has led projects in collaboration with departments across the University, developing technologies and systems that simplify processes for students, faculty, staff, and family members.
Wilcley earned a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Central Florida. He is currently pursuing a doctorate in Mechanical Engineering from UF, researching ways to produce clean energy from waste.
Wilcley lives in the Gainesville, Florida area with his wife, dog, and three cats. An avid musician, Wilcley sings with the Gainesville Master Chorale, and plays piano at his church.
Bill McGinn, Assistant Director, Facilities and Operations, Business Services
Bill is responsible for the oversight of facilities construction/ renovation, and facilities maintenance and operations. In addition to managing facilities and operations in dining, bookstore and vending spaces, Bill manages sourcing and purchasing of assets belonging to the University. Bill also serves as the liaison and primary contact for internal and external facility operations related to building safety/security and serves as the building emergency coordinator and trainer and is the staff representative for the division on the University Emergency Operations Team (EOT).
Bill is a veteran of the United States Coast Guard and earned an M.B.A. from Nova Southeastern University. Bill has also completed both the UF Leadership Academy and the UF Advanced Leadership Program for Academics and Staff Professionals.
Bill has been a part of the Business Services team for over eight years. He is an avid traveler, home brewer and lives in Gainesville with his wife Kari and several pets.
