Order Your Cap & Gown
Grad Fair in the UF Bookstore
If you would like to order UF Graduation Announcements, please visit the Herff Jones website,
herff.ly/uf. A Herff Jones representative will be on campus February 19
th – 21
st from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Order Cap & Gown
Herff Jones is the official location to order your cap & gown for UF’s commencement ceremonies. Order deadline is March 22nd.
For ceremonies held between May 1st through May 6th, your deadline to order with standard shipping is March 22nd.
Late orders are available to order March 25th-March 29th with rush shipping only.
The site will close on March 30th for all graduation ceremonies May 1st -May 6th.
Once the site closes, all regalia requests will be paid and picked up from the UF Bookstore beginning April 22nd-May 6th.
Cap & Gown deadlines for the specialty programs are listed below:
Pharm.D
Deadline is March 29th. Rush shipping is available from April 1st-April 5th.
Levin College of Law
Deadline is April 5th. Rush shipping is available from April 8th -April 12th.
College of Dentistry
Deadline is April 5th. Rush shipping is available from April 8th -April 12th.
College of Medicine
Deadline is April 5th. Rush shipping is available from April 8th -April 12th.
College of VetMed
Deadline is April 12th. Rush shipping is available from April 15th -April 19th.
Physician Assistant Program
Deadline is May 5th. Rush shipping is available from May 6th – May 10th.
Requirements & Instructions
To order a cap & gown, you must be registered to graduate for the current term. If you did not register to graduate for the current term, but should have, you will need to read and complete a late degree application.
You will be required to provide height and weight information to make sure that you receive the appropriate gown.
If you would like to order UF Graduation Announcements, please visit Herff Jones website, herff.ly/uf. A Herff Jones representative will be on campus from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. February 20th – February 22nd.
Cap & Gown Pick-Up
If you have placed your regalia order before your deadline, your order will ship to the address you provided. Please allow up to 3 -4 weeks for your regalia to ship.
If you missed your deadline and need regalia, we will have regalia available in the UF Bookstore beginning April 22nd. During this time, you can pay and pick up your regalia. This is in-store pick up only. No shipping will be available.
Cap & Gown Return
- Doctoral regalia is rented – Please retain the shipping box and the return shipping label provided with your regalia. Regalia needs to be shipped back to Herff Jones 1 week after your UF graduation ceremony.
- Gown & Hood are rented and must be returned to Herff Jones
- Tam/hat and tassel are yours to keep.
- Bachelor regalia: All Bachelor Regalia is purchased and yours to keep.
- Master regalia: All Master Regalia is purchased and yours to keep.
